The Tallahassee Bar Association held their first Legal Community Conference today for lawyers and judges in the area to network and to listen to the different sessions offered.

There were a total of 6 classes that were offered throughout the day with 3 courses that people can choose from each hour. There were a variety of course on professional development, time management, practice management, civil law and criminal law.

Additionally WCTV Anchor Julie Montanaro was there speaking on the New Rules in Professionalism. Montanaro wanted to inform the lawyers and judges on her roll when is comes to covering court cases. President of the Tallahassee Bar Association Melissa VanSickle was in attendance during that session VanSickle says, "It's an interesting course to be able to hear perspective from a lawyer, but also from someone who is in the media because sometimes those two can be seen as adversaries and so it was neat to hear a perspective from two different sides on the same topic."
