Flooding and Damaging Winds Strike Valdosta [SLIDESHOW]

Valdosta is being blasted with rain and storms. Countless roads are experiencing flooding, and the water over the roads is creating dangerous driving conditions.

At times the rain has been so heavy you can't even see the car in front of you, and countless trees and power lines are knocked down all over, including in residential neighborhoods, and many are around Valdosta State University.

It's creating a very difficult situation because the traffic signals are out.

Police are directing traffic but there don't appear to be enough to cover every where they need to be. There are plenty of firetrucks and ambulances rushing around.
