Florida Ballot Amendments

Voters in this year's election will not only be deciding who gets into office, but also which of the eleven amendments are passed in Florida.

Amendment 1 attempts to keep the government from requiring you to purchase health insurance.

A yes vote means that you do want this in the Florida constitution, a no vote means you don't want it.

Amendment 2 gives a property tax discount to disabled veterans who moved to Florida after entering the military.

A yes vote means you want to give these disabled veterans a property tax discount, a no vote means you don't.

Amendment 8 removes the prohibition in the state constitution that prevents religious places from receiving taxpayer money.

A yes vote means that you want to remove this prohibition, a no vote means that you want to keep this law as is.
