SEATTLE (AP) -- A Florida man who firebombed a Seattle home after pressuring family members over money has been sentenced to 15 years in prison.

KOMO-TV reports Sang Ngoc Ung pleaded guilty in April to crimes associated with a June 2013 fire at a relative's home in Seattle. Prosecutors say the 54-year-old tried to firebomb a second home, but the device didn't work.

Prosecutors say Ung had been pressuring family members in Seattle over a $20,000 debt he believed he was owed. Although the family gave him some money, Ung traveled from his Margate, Florida, home to Seattle in an effort to collect the money.

Police found evidence that tied him to the home that burned and the other attempt.

He pleaded guilty to charges related to extortion, racketeering and violent crime.
