Press Release: Ford Motor Company
Tallahassee, FL (June 13, 2013) – Ford Motor Company, in partnership with Operation Gratitude, invites Tallahassee area residents to “Go Further for Our Troops” in an effort to donate up to 2500 Care Packages to our Military. For every person who takes the wheel and test-drives a new Ford vehicle at any North Florida/South Georgia Ford Dealership between June 13 and 16, Ford will donate funds for one care package to Operation Gratitude, which will be distributed to a wide variety of Military members.
In addition to helping raise the funds for the care packages, drivers will be able to create a personalized message to a Service Member, which will be donated on their behalf.
Care packages include snacks, entertainment items, personal letters of appreciation and other needed items, and are sent to deployed Military members, their families, care givers, Veterans, first responders and Wounded Warriors through Operation Gratitude, and are valued at up to $100 each.
This four-day event will feature many vehicles from Ford’s impressive line-up. Dealership staff on site will be able to assist with all Ford vehicles and provide additional information on vehicles available for test drives.
Participants must be 18 or older and have a valid driver’s license to participate. All test-drives will last approximately 7 – 10 minutes. For a list of dealership locations and hours of operation, please visit www.Ford.com.
