Press Release: Blueprint 2000

Blueprint 2000 will hold a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for the Reopening of Franklin Boulevard on Monday, April 8 @ 11 a.m. The event will take place at the corner of Franklin Boulevard and East Call Street.

Speakers scheduled to attend the ceremony are: Mayor John Marks; City of Tallahassee Commissioner and Blueprint 2000 IA Chairman Nancy Miller and Leon County Commission Chairman Nick Maddox.
This Flood Relief Project was funded in part by a grant from the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity and the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. While the project is first and foremost a flood relief/stormwater management facility, roadway enhancements such as bike lanes, lighting and abundant landscaping were added along with broad sidewalks, benches, lighting and drinking fountains for pedestrians and pets, too.
