Thomasville, GA- Dozens of friends and family members of 36-year-old Amy Bush-Mashburn stopped by the Morningside United Methodist Church in Thomasville Thursday evening to pick up their "Fight For Amy" t-shirts.
Friends say Mashburn, a Thomasville native, has been fighting for her life since a freak allergic reaction to a medication on Feb. 6.
She has since been transported to Emory Hospital in Atlanta.
All of the proceeds raised from t-shirt sales will help pay for Mashburn's family to travel to her.
"We just came together and decided this is what we need to do," said Fran Hood, Mashburn's friend. "We need to pull together and the whole thing has been for Amy to fight. We need the prayers and we need Amy to fight so we can bring her home."
Mashburn's friends have started a "Prayers For Amy" Facebook group.
They say over the next few weeks, they're going to continue doing special events in Amy's honor until she can finally come home,
