Gadsden County Sheriff's Office Donates Police Vehicles

Quincy, FL -- The Gadsden County Sheriff's Office donated 8 vehicles to the Havana, Midway, Gretna, and Quincy Police Departments. The 2006 and 2007 cruisers have to be stripped of their sheriff decals before being sent off to their new homes.

"We all have budget issues here and there, and it's very important that we try to keep our citizens safe here in Gadsden County, and we want to make sure that we support our sister agencies," said Gadsden County Sheriff Morris Young.

The sheriff says that the cars still have plenty of life in them, and felt that this was a better alternative than putting the cars to auction.
