[UPDATE] Chattahoochee, FL -- January 16, 2012

Chattahoochee Police say a love triangle is at the root of a 38 year old man's death.

Roger Clemons died Saturday after a Thursday-night brawl with Travis Jones outside of Flint Garden Apartments.

According to police, Clemons was in a relationship with Travis Jones' estranged girlfriend Tynese Davis.

Davis has two children with Jones. At this point there are no charges against Jones. He is cooperating with police.

[UPDATE] Chattahoochee, FL -- January 15, 2012

Chattahoochee police say 30-year-old Travis Jones and 38-year-old Roger Clemons were fighting along Line Street on Thursday.
Clemons was severely injured and life flighted to Tallahassee Memorial hospital. He died there yesterday, January 14.

Chattahoochee PD is still investigating, but no charges are pending against Jones in Clemons' death. Jones is also from Gadsden County

Chattahoochee, FL -- January 13, 2012

Police in Chattahoochee are being tight-lipped about an overnight incident that sent one person to the hospital.The incident happened at the Flint Apartments on Line Street.

Residents in the complex say police cars crowded the home and one person was taken to the hospital by ambulance.
Police will not give us any details about what happened in the apartment or whether it's a criminal investigation.

The Police Chief says he is not ready to comment at this time.

they said chattahoochee had some nasty girls anyways but tynese who ever you are you better watch your back cause what goes around comes around you talking about travis need to be lock up you need to be as well cause your are so guilty and you on the news acting like you was scared but that is a lie

The faculty senate at Valdosta State University is taking a stand against concealed guns on campus. They unanimously passed a resolution last week to keep guns out of the classrooms and off university grounds. The faculty senate is standing in opposition to house bill 981. The bill proposed allowing citizens the right to carry concealed weapons into bars.. churches.. college campuses and even elementary schools.
