Tallahassee, Florida - September 29, 2012
Shoppers flocked to Gaines Street in Tallahassee Saturday for the second annual Gaines Street Festival.
The festival was created in 2011 to bring in shoppers on Gaines Street in order to experience the local vendors and shops there.
This year's festival featured about 20 vendors and nearly 100 bands who played throughout the day.
"Right about now is when most kids are coming back into Tallahassee or just moving to Tallahassee to go to FSU or FAMU so it's a good time of the year for them to come out and see what kind of local stuff and local music we have to offer," says Taylor Biro who help organize the festival.
The goes until about 2 a.m. Sunday.
