Gas Prices Have Risen 10 Cents Across Nation in Past Week

Tallahassee, Florida- August 20, 2012

The pain at the pump keeps growing as gas prices continue to creep up. Over the last month, the average price of a tank of gas has risen to nearly four dollars.

According to AAA gas prices have gone up more than ten cents across the country in the past week. Some of the hardest hit spots include Georgia where last month prices jumped 31 cents and last year this time, it was ten cents more.

Other studies show that on average gas costs more than four dollars a gallon to fill up the tank. This is some bad news as we are about two weeks away from what will be another three day weekend for many people.
