Tallahassee, Florida- July 16, 2012
Falling prices were nice for a little while, but gas is on the way back up in our area.
The average price for a gallon of regular unleaded in Florida is three dollars and twenty-nine cents. Drivers in Tallahassee were seeing some stations selling gas for less than three dollars around July 4th, but according to gasbuddy.com, the cheapest price today is three dollars and fourteen cents.
Says one local man, A.J. Hubbard: "I mean gas over at my house was like 2.99 and now it's like 3.21...that just...I don't like that."
The current national average price for gasoline is three dollars and thirty-nine cents, which is down considerably from a month ago, when it was three dollars and fifty-one cents.
