Tallahassee, FL - Helping veterans this holiday weekend could be as simple as getting a haircut.
Sport Clips will be raising funds for its 'Help A Hero' campaign. Money raised will help troops overseas, call home to their families here in the states.
Also, on Veterans Day, each store will donate one dollar from each hair cut to the Veterans of Foreign Wars scholarship program. Both Tallahassee locations will be taking part in the weekend's campaign.
"We've partnered with the VFW here locally," said Elizabeth Crawford of Sport Clips. "We get involved with as many things as we can with them. It's just really special. We want to give back to the community and what better way than to the heroes that protect us everyday."
Over the last six years, Sport Clips nationwide has donated almost $2 million for our troops overseas.
