There is still time to give the gift of giving during that last minute crunch.
"It means alot to be able to give back after I receive," said Anthony Soza, official bell ringer of the Salvation Army. "They have helped me give Christmas presents for my kids when I needed it."
Organizations like The Salvation Army could not help those in need if it wasn't for the community support.
"They can volunteer for the Salvation army one, two hours a day makes the biggest difference," said Soza.
The spirit of Christmas should happen year-round.
"Beautiful time of year we are all in the mood for giving and I wish they can see what their donations are making happen in this community," said Goodwill store Manager, Charles Tullos.
According to Tullos, the generous donations, big or small, really put smiles are families faces.
"You have something that is slightly used that you will like to donate as this time of the year you know after Christmas after Christmas will be joyfully received," said Tullos.
The Leon County Sheriffs office wants to extend to all the spirit of giving.
"I think it takes a special person to help somebody you gotta wanna help them and the smallest thing could have incredible rewards for you," said Lieutenant Tim Baxter, Leon County Sheriff's Office.
All the organizations accept kindness in any size--anytime of year.
