TAMARAC, Fla. (AP) -- A South Florida woman dropped an envelope containing $1,500 while putting stamps on letters at the Tamarac post office.
She realized it was missing a short time later when she stopped by the bank on Monday. But Yan G. Van Heel's story ended well, thanks to Tiina Purin and her boyfriend Jon Raskin of Jupiter.
The Palm Beach Post (http://bit.ly/JaGz2I ) reports Purin and Raskin were looking for a house when they stopped by the post office and Raskin stepped on the envelope. Purin wrote `Found envelope' and her phone number on a paper and gave it to a postal worker.
When Van Heel returned to the post office, workers gave her the note.
She called Purin and they money was returned to her on Tuesday.
