Grady County, GA - A Grady County Jail Administrator was arrested early Friday morning in Cairo. Tim Gainous was charged with two counts of criminal trespassing after being arrested by the Cairo Police Department around 12:30AM. That's according to the Cairo Magistrate Court. They say he entered his wife's apartment at Windwood Villas without permission and she called the cops. They are separated and had been living apart. He was taken to the Decatur County Jail.
Cairo Police Chief Keith Sandefur said "no one was injured. The individual was arrested on the scene without any incident. He had previously been barred back in May of this year from the property and he was arrested for the criminal trespass."
Grady County Sheriff Harry Young said "some things I'm not going to tolerate and this is one of them. When we have trouble at home they bring it to work, it causes problems with all the other employees so I'm going to address the final decision in a couple of days but as of right now he is not working with the Grady County Sheriff's Office."
Gainous was released Friday afternoon on a $2,000 bond.
