Tallahassee, FL- A local group is giving some World War II Veterans the chance to see the World War II Memorial in Washington D.C.
Honor Flight Tallahassee is hoping to fly the veterans out May 11th.
So far, 61 veterans have signed up and the group says there is still room for more.
The group says the trip won't cost the veterans a dime. It's paid for through donations.
The group says it costs around $80,000 per flight.
The group says it will continue to offer flights until every World War II veteran in North Florida and South Georgia who wants to go to the memorial does.
The group plans to hold a 5k Run at the Tallahassee Airport to raise more money April 13th.
