Tallahassee, FL - Addams Family, move over.

Bill Schack and his family turned their normal Tallahassee home into a haunted house.

"Each year, it gets a little bit more spooky," Schack said.

The Schacks decorate their home every year and believe it's all for the fun of it.

"It's like Christmas to us, just a lot of fun to decorate and more than anything else, scare the kids when they come by," Schack added.

"I can say personally that if I came up to this house and I didn't know I'd be pretty freaked out," said Courtney, Bill Schack's nine-year-old daughter.

Over at the Tallahassee Mall, it was quite spooky for the Castle Dread haunted maze.

"It's great fun to scare people," said Debbie Tanner, creator of Castle Dread.

Then we crept down Beard Street a.k.a. Halloween street, where it was packed with young and adult trick-or-treaters.

"It's pretty cool," said one trick-or-treater.

"You get to dress up and get candy," said another trick-or-treater.

And it wouldn't be right not to cap off the night with a Halloween themed "Yappy Hour" at the Front Porch with local pets and their owners.

Even though Halloween ends Thursday, the Castle Guard haunted tour at the Tallahassee Mall continues until Saturday.
