Havana, FL - A 57-year-old Havana man is charged with murder after police say he stabbed a relative of his.
Havana Police say Willie Pennick stabbed 38-year-old Darrell Smart on April 4 after the two began arguing over a woman.
The stabbing happen at a home in the 600 block of East 1 Ave in Havana where Pennick was staying.
Neighbors called 9-1-1 after Smart ran outside, asking for help.
Smart was taken to Tallahassee Memorial Hospital where he died and police arrested Pennick.
Police say the two men admitted to drinking and that Pennick confessed to stabbing Smart.
Pennick is charged with murder. He is being held without bond at the Gadsden County Jail.
Police are not exactly sure how the two men are related.
