Head on Collision in Southwest Tallahassee [SLIDE SHOW]

Tallahassee, FL - Mary Godwin moved to her home on Blountstown Highway in March of 2012. In just nine months, she's seen six car accidents right outside her door.

"These people out here use this as a racetrack," said Godwin.

The head on collission early Tuesday morning was loud enough to make Godwin run outside and call 911.

"It wasn't as loud as a jet boom but it was almost there," Godwin said as she stood near the location of the crash just steps from her front door.

The speed limit posted in the area says 45 miles per hour, but Godwin says that at night, cars and trucks zoom by regularly. She hopes that drivers can use some common sense on the road to avoid any more accidents.

"People need to slow down and learn to pay attention to the traffic signs," she said.
