A man is in serious condition after hitting a hog with his motorcycle Sunday morning.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, Larry Strickland, 60, was driving east on US 98 in Taylor County when a hog came from the south shoulder and into Strickland's lane of travel.
According to FHP, the front of Strickland's motorcycle collided with the hog. Strickland's motorcycle came to final rest on the north shoulder on its right side.
Strickland was brought to Shands Hospital. FHP says alcohol was not in his system. Strickland was not wearing a helmet.
