ATLANTA (AP) -- Police are continuing their search for two men depicted in sketches who are suspects in the abduction of a 14-year-old Georgia girl.

Ayvani Hope Perez was abducted early Tuesday from her suburban Atlanta home. A suspected kidnapper called her family, demanding money and drugs in exchange for her release, according to a court document released Thursday.

After a 36-hour ordeal, the suspected kidnappers finally called the family around midday Wednesday and said Ayvani would be dropped off at a relative's home in Conyers.

The girl was found safe and in good health at her aunt's home.

Police on Wednesday arrested two men in connection with the case. But police say they're still searching for the two suspects depicted in the sketches, who they say were involved in the abduction.

ELLENWOOD, Ga. (AP) -- Police records show that the mother of a 14-year-old kidnapping victim was arrested in the same drug case as one of the men arrested in the girl's disappearance.

Two men are in custody after police say Ayvani Hope Perez was taken at gunpoint from her Ellenwood home early Tuesday. She was found safe on Wednesday.

Police had said that the crime appeared to be random. But arrest records show that one of the men in custody, Juan Alberto Contreras-Rodriguez, was arrested in a drug bust at a Henry County home in February 2012. A judge later dismissed the drug trafficking charge.

Ayvani's mother, Maria Corral, was arrested in that same bust, though she was never indicted and the case was dismissed. It was not immediately clear why Corral and Contreras-Rodriguez were at the Henry County home together.

Associated Press Release

ELLENWOOD, Ga. (AP) -- Police are searching for a 14-year-old girl after they say home invaders abducted her from her house south of Atlanta.

Police early Tuesday morning were stopping cars and checking them during an all-out search for the girl.

Clayton County police say the two men entered the Ellenwood home through a back door around 2:15 a.m. Tuesday.

Officer Phong Nguyen said the home invaders demanded money and jewelry. When the woman said she didn't have any, one of the men shot and killed the family dog.

Police say they then took 14-year-old Ayvani Hope Perez, described as Hispanic, with brown eyes and black hair. She's 4 feet, 9 inches tall and 93 pounds. She was wearing pajama bottoms and a "Superheroes" shirt.

Police say the men left in a grey Dodge.
