Tallahassee FL- It's always a good idea to eat a good meal before you plan on donating blood, but one area restaurant is inviting donors to eat after they donate.
The Outback Steakhouse off Raymond Diehl Road in Tallahassee hosted a Saint Patrick's day blood drive today. Those who donated got a $10 gift card. Organizers tell us it was all in hopes of encouraging people to donate.
Outback Steakhouse Manager, Tommy Corns explained "Apparently 39% of the people out there can donate blood and aren't even aware that they can give blood. So we are trying to bring more awareness to people to help get people out here to help everyone."
People who donated were also able to enter a raffle for one year's worth of free Outback.
