Imagine Tallahassee Meeting

Tallahassee, Fla. -- A town hall meeting took place tonight in downtown Tallahassee, and a local non-profit discussed what they are working on to make the city a better place to live.

Imagine Tallahassee is a grassroots organization that provides citizens an opportunity to brand their community.

Topics discussed at the meeting were the launch of the new Imagine Tallahassee website and future community events that are open to the public.

Imagine Tallahassee Co-Founder, Kim Rivers says the goal of the organization is to come up with an identity for the community and develop projects that will feed into that idea.

"Ultimate Goal is to come up with some really great initiatives that are gamechangers for our community," Kim Rivers, Co-Founder, Imagine Tallahassee, said. "I've got a 3 year old and so when Andrew is 20 he can say wow, I am so proud to call Tallahassee my home."

The next Imagine Tallahassee Community Forum will be on May 20th at 5:30 p.m. at Bethel AME Church; another forum will be held on May 21st at 2 p.m. at city hall.

The events are open to the public and free to attend.
