Tallahassee, FL - If you enjoy listening to local bands in Tallahassee then the American Legion Hall Post #3 was the place to be tonight.

The 2ND Annual Indie Music Fest took place from 4:00PM to 11:00PM. Six bands which included Big Poppa and the Shuffle Brothers and The Wailin' Wolves Band took the stage. The groups said they wanted to hold the festival to support a local organization.

"Well Bert Calderon put it together and there's a lot of people in Tallahassee that have a heart for animals. We've partnered with the Animal Shelter Foundation before and so he wanted to partner with them again," said Mary Dhanarajan, Sings in Wailin' Wolves Band.

The group said for last year's Indie Music Fest they donated $2,000 to a local veteran organization, they couldn't tell us amount for this year.
