The Asian Coalition of Tallahassee hosted a Japanese Tea Ceremony to raise money for Japan's Tsunami victims.

A few dozen people gathered in the ball room at Hotel Duval to participate.

Proceeds from the $25 entry fee will go toward relief efforts.

"We're hosting this Japanese Tea Ceremony with the hopes to showcase the Japanese culture, but at the same time to remind people that there's still a lot of work that needs to get done in Japan," said Mafe Brooks with the Asian Coalition of Tallahassee.

Folks in attendance not only watched the ceremony, but were served tea afterward.

Anyone wanting to help can go to Asiantlh.org.

They should have had a Tea Party and given all the collected donations to Rick Scott - a true American hero.
