Valdosta, GA - On January 14th 2013, three days after Kendrick Johnson was found inside a rolled up gym mat at Lowndes High School, the Georgia Bureau of Investigations did an autopsy on the teen's body. Jackie Johnson says last Thursday, those autopsy reports showed up on the website Re-News it, a blog that anonymously posts evidence and theories on national stories, what else they found, came as a shock.
"My sister was going online to look for the shoe; what KJ was alledgedly looking for, and she scrolled over and there was a picture of Kendrick's autopsy on the page", says Jackie Johnson, Kendrick's Mother.
Johnson says she blocked the website's host on Twitter after constant harassment, and doesn't know why the webmaster is attacking her family. She adds, "It's hurtful, bedcause that's still my child at the end of the day, and who that has a heart could do something like that?"
According to Georgia law, access to 'crime scene photos and videos in state or local agency's custody' is restricted if those photos show the person in a state of 'dismemberment or mutilation.'
The law also says that the photos can only be released to the next of kin and members of the media on a limited basis. However, If the findings are in the public interest and don't interfere with the next of kin's privacy, the court can order that they be released.
According to the Lowndes County District Attorney's Office, autopsy reports, unlike autopsy photos are not included in public records, which are available to anyone. If obtained illegally, that office says the family could seek legal action in the civil court.
The family's attorney, Chevene King, says they are exploring their legal options, but according to KJ's father, in the mean time, his family will keep fighting for answers.
"She is not really an issue, but it's just sad that she would go that far to put out pictures of a young man like that."
WCTV has reached out to Re-News It's webmaster about how the photos were obtained and why they were posted, but so far, we have not received a response.

Valdosta, GA - Supporters of the Johnson Family took part in a prayer vigil to celebrate the teen's birthday.
Jackie and Kenneth Johnson were joined by Sabrina Fulton Martin, Trayvon Martin's mother, Ron Davis, Jordan Davis' father, and Gospel Singer Le'andria Johnson.
Johnson's parents say they held the celebration so the community doesn't forget about their son.
"It feels good that the community is here, but it still hurts to have to celebrate a birthday without your child", says Jackie Johnson.
"We're going to continue to fight, no matter what it takes, we are going to fight for justice for Kendrick Johnson. Today would have been his 19th birthday, and we're going to celebrate just like he was here", says Kenneth Johnson.
Kendrick's body was found inside a rolled up gym mat at Lowndes High. His death is being investigated by U.S. Attorney Michael Moore's office.
