Kids with disabilities had a chance to show their abilities on the field.
Tallahassee families gathered at Messer Park to participate in SportsAbility. The young children had a chance to play a number of sports including baseball, soccer and cheerleading.
SportsAbility promotes active leisure for children with disabilities. The only people having more fun than the kids at the baseball game were the volunteers.
"You see the parents just so excited about what their kids our able to do and out here people are concentrating on what your abilities are not your disability," said volunteer Laurie Gussak.
If you didn't get a chance to make it out to the festivities Thursday, don't worry.
SportsAbility continues into the weekend with plenty of events on Friday and Saturday including scuba diving, rock climbing and kayaking.
