OWINGSVILLE, Ky. (AP) -- A central Kentucky man has been arrested and charged with killing a 4-year-old Florida girl whose remains have never been found.
Kentucky State Police and federal agents took 42-year-old Keith Allen Wilson into custody Tuesday morning at his Bath County home. The Lexington Herald-Leader reports (http://bit.ly/1bGOPlE ) that the arrest came after the Charlotte County, Fla., Sheriff's Office asked that Wilson be picked up.
The arrest came after Wilson's former girlfriend, Melissa Harding-Jones, pleaded guilty to being an accessory after the fact in court in Charlotte County, Fla.
Wilson is charged with killing Pilar Rodriguez, a child who was reported missing in January 1999.
Harding-Jones worked as a baby sitter for Rodriguez. Wilson was being held in the Montgomery County Regional Jail while awaiting extradition to Florida.
