Lake City Attorney Announces Bid for Third Judicial Circuit

Lake City, Florida- August 27, 2012

In light of State Attorney Skip Jarvis dropping out of the race for his job, another candidate has stepped up to run in his place.

Last week, Jarvis said he was withdrawing from the current race-- for third judicial circuit.

It was a direct result of an agreement between all parties involved in the investigation of claims that he misused government crime database computers.

Lake City Attorney Bill Brannon announced his bid for the race Friday.

He'll face off against Republican candidate Jeffrey Siegmeister in November.
