TALLAHASSEE, Fla. -- The eastbound lane of Bradford Road will close from the intersection of Meridian Road to approximately 800 feet east of the intersection. The closure will begin on Tuesday, August 5, and will last for approximately three weeks. Work hours will be from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on weekdays.
This lane closure is necessary to create a safe work environment while crews replace the existing water main with a larger diameter main that will allow for increased capacity. The new main will connect to the water main that was constructed as part of the recent Bradford Road Phase I Sidewalk Project.
Motorists will be detoured around the closure using alternate routes. Drivers should watch for signage and reduce their speed near the area of construction. Local access will be maintained for residents to access their properties.
