Lane Closures Along Killarney Way Draw to End
City of Tallahassee Release
As part of the Killarney Way at Shamrock Street Stormwater Improvements Project, there have been periodic road and lane closures for the past two months affecting traffic along Killarney Way. In an effort to restore normal traffic patterns ahead of schedule, the eastbound lane of Killarney Way between Forsythe Way and Foley Drive will be closed during the following times:
Saturday and Sunday, Jan. 26-27, from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Monday and Tuesday, Jan. 28-29, from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Wednesday, Jan. 30, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Following these closures, normal traffic patterns will be restored with no other anticipated road closures by Thursday, Jan. 31.
Businesses in the construction zone remain open and accessible.
The primary goal of this project is to reduce the frequency and severity of flooding in and around the roundabout intersection of Killarney Way and Shamrock Street.
