Fatality In Late Night Leon County Accident

Leon County, FL - A man involved in a single car crash late last night has succumbed to his injuries.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, 62-year old Aaron Ailstock, was traveling on Old Plank Road when his car hit a tree.

The collision caused his car to overturn-- ejecting Ailstock. FHP reports that alcohol was believed to be a factor in the accident. Ailstock was not wearing a seatbelt at the time.

Leon County, FL - A single car crash in Leon County ends up with a person stuck underneath the vehicle.

The Florida Highway Patrol says a man was driving North in a pickup off of Old Plank Road, about three miles north of Natural Bridge Road.

That's when they say the pickup veered off the road, collided with trees and overturned onto its left side.

FHP says people driving by stopped to help the man who was described as being underneath the truck. The people were able to get him from under the car says FHP.

He was then transported to Tallahassee Memorial Hospital in critical condition. FHP is investigating the cause of the wreck.
