Leadership Tallahassee Government Day

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. -- Leadership Tallahassee is put on by the Tallahassee Chamber of Commerce. Each member is someone involved in the community, usually business owners or partners, who are nominated and chosen to be a part of the group.

They hold events throughout the year and Thursday afternoon, Class 32 held their annual "Government Day" to ask their officials any and all questions.

""It really is a great opportunity to have some one-on-one time with our elected officials to talk about some of the important things that are effecting all of our live," said Foyt Ralston, a member of Leadership Tallahassee. "And I really think that it's great that they're giving their time to us because, you know, they're busy. We're busy. But we have an opportunity to address questions and get answers and it's really just a phenomenal opportunity of all of us."

Issues that were touched on including the low voter turnout and the ethics issue that will go in front of a judge Friday.
