Have you ever come across some loose change in your pocket or after doing the laundry. Well, you might consider saving it.
The Madison County Extension Office is getting that message out for people to work on saving their money - it's all a part of "America Saves Week."
America Saves, according to the Rutgers Cooperative Extension, is a national campaign that encourages individuals and families to save money and build wealth.
"We want people to start small and think big. Small amounts of money overtime builds and if you don't start the habit, you are never going to have money to take care of those emergencies as they come up," said Diann Douglas with the Madison County Extension Office.
