Tallahassee FL- The minority chamber of commerce held their annual reception to recognize the Legislative Black Caucus.
Dozens of both local and statewide leaders attended the event this evening. The social event got people talking about what issues are most important to minorities and women throughout the state of Florida. We caught up with the chairman of the Minority Chamber of Commerce and he told us just why it so important to highlight the legislative black caucus.
"It's important that we have organizations and we have leaders that are willing to lend a hand and help these businesses be able to help themselves," explained the Chairman of the Big Ben Minority Chamber of Commerce.
We were told the Big Bend Minority Chamber of Commerce plans this event every year at the start of legislative session in hopes of establishing more connections and conversations concerning minority groups.
