Cotton Colors Release: Coton Colors Provides 200,000 Meals through Attached to a Cause Giving Campaign

During a time when many people are most worried about which fixings' should accompany the turkey, Coton Colors, a national brand based in Tallahassee, Florida, reminds us to 'Count Your Blessings' through its inaugural Attached to a Cause charitable campaign. The designer and manufacturer of colorful, handcrafted pottery, creative giftware and seasonal pieces proudly unveiled its Attached to a Cause program this fall, setting a goal to provide more than 200,000 meals to hunger relief charities across the nation.

The company designed and is selling the exclusive Coton Colors "Count Your Blessings" attachment for the top-selling Happy Everything platters in its retail storefronts {one located here in Tallahassee} and online, with 100 percent of net profits from the sale of the attachments going directly to U.S. food banks and hunger relief charities.

Here in its own backyard, Coton Colors is bringing the initiative to a local level with the first Coton Colors Day of Giving on Friday, Nov. 16, 2012. More than 40 of the Tallahassee-based Coton Colors employees will spend the day working with two of Tallahassee's leading hunger relief/homeless charities - the Big Bend Homeless Coalition and Second Harvest Food Bank of the Big Bend.

An astounding one in six people across the United States rely upon food banks and hunger relief charities for food. Coton Colors is making a noteworthy contribution to fight domestic hunger through the Attached to a Cause program.
"Since our inception in 1995, Coton Colors has been fortunate in our successes," said Laura Johnson, founding artist and owner, Coton Colors. "Through the support of our retailers across the nation and our employees, we look forward to joining together to make a significant impact with the Attached to a Cause program. During our local Day of Giving event, our team is excited to take a day out of the office to share a little piece of happy with those who need it most."
