The Cheese That Pleased: Local Dairy Wins National Award

Thomasville, Georgia- August 7, 2012

A local family-owned business is celebrating a national win for one of it's cheeses.

Sweet Grass Dairy in Thomasville won third place for it's soft-ripened Green Hill cheese at the Annual American Cheese Society Conference and Competition.

This year's competition featured 254 cheesemakers and over 1700 cheeses were judged.

This is the seventh time the Green Hill cheese has brought home a ribbon for Sweet Grass Dairy.
