Local Group Holds Bra Fundraiser for Breast Cancer
Breast Cancer Walk
Tallahassee, FL - Business and Professional Women of Tallahassee hosted their third annual 'Support The Girls' breast cancer walk about.
People could walk about to different businesses in midtown and vote on their favorite decorated bra.
The purpose was to raise money for BPW's Florida breast cancer fund.
Their goal is to help make life a little easier for those diagnosed with breast cancer.
"We had a bra decorating party, it's a lot of fun because you can see we have folks that put a lot of time into it. We have funny bras, we have a lot of different stuff," said Rebecca Deen, treasurer for BPW.
At 7:30 p.m. Friday, they announced the winning bra.
For the past few months, they've donated hundreds of dollars to breast cancer patients.
