Lowndes County Races

Election day is just a week away now and of course we'll have all of your election coverage.

Deb Cox, the Superintendent of Elections in Lowndes County says there are two really big races that people are talking about.

The first race is for Sheriff of Lowndes County, Republican J.D. Yeager will try to unseat Democratic incumbent Chris Prine.

In the other big race in Lowndes County, incumbent Amy Carter is facing off with J.C. Cunningham for the State Representative District 175 Seat.
