Thanks to the media coverage the missing teenager was located in Crawfordville at approximately 5 p.m.

News Release: Wakulla County Sheriff's Office

The Wakulla County Sheriff’s Office is seeking information on the whereabouts of a missing Wakulla County teenager, according to Sheriff Charlie Creel.

Alexis Renee Swerdlen, 17, was last seen getting off a school bus at 3 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 13. The bus stopped at Shadeville Highway and Thames Street in Crawfordville. The teenager intentionally got off at the incorrect bus stop.

Swerdlen is estimated at 5 feet, 5 inches to 5 feet, 9 inches tall and weighs 115 pounds. The white female has blond hair. She is not endangered. Anyone with information about her whereabouts is asked to contact the Wakulla County Sheriff’s Office at (850) 745-7100.
