Madison County Sheriff Ben Stewart reports that continued burglaries and thefts are occurring throughout Madison County. The most recent being in the South West portion of Madison County and consisting of a total cost value of items taken exceeding $24,000,00.
The residence of Jeff Bloodworth had a John Deere diesel 72” cut mower, Stihl chainsaw, weed-eater, and pole saw taken as recent as Saturday the 1st day of September, (value of $18,000).
The residence of Dimpsy Gossett had a Gravely 52” cut mower also taken as recent as the 31st day of August 2012 and discovered missing on Saturday the 1st day of September, (value $5,000.00).
The residence of Donnie Tuten had a 12’ black dual axel utility trailer also on Friday night the 31st day of August and discovered missing on Saturday the 1st day of September 2012, (Value $1,500.00).
Jeff Bloodworth is offering $1,000.00 reward for information leading to the arrest of persons involved in these crimes. Sheriff Stewart further encourages any and all persons having any information regarding these thefts to please contact the Sheriff’s Office at 850-973-4001.
