Madison County Man Arrested for Marijuana, Alcohol Sales

MADISON, Fla. -- A Madison County man is facing several charges related to marijuana and alcohol sales following his arrest.

A Madison County Sheriff's Office Drug Task Force served a narcotic search warrant and arrest warrants at 479 SW Brookwood Avenue on Friday.

Authorities say that Terrence Brown, 40, of Madison was arrested as the result of a several month long investigation.

Investigators recovered 50 packages of marijuana, 166 pints of Seagrams Gin, 163 pints of Paul Mason Brandy, 23 bottles of Mad Dog 20/20, 31 cans of various beer, currency and ledgers recording sales transactions. Items to weigh and package marijuana were also seized.

Brown faces 3 counts of possession of marijuana with intent to sell, 3 counts of sale of marijuana, and one count each of possession of more than 20 grams of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and sale of alcohol without a license.
