Madison County, FL - September 4, 2012
Madison County Sheriff Ben Stewart reports that on Thursday the 30th day of August 2012 the Sheriff’s Office Drug Task Force was assisted by the National Guard to conduct county wide aerial searches of potential marijuana growing operations.
The search discovered seven (7) marijuana plants between 6 and 7 feet tall behind the residence of Dennis Riggdon located at 622 NE Joshua Tree Way in Lee, Florida. The plants have an approximate value of $7,000.00.
Dennis Riggdon, W/M, DOB: 08/27/1951 of Lee, Florida was arrested without incident and charged with Cultivation of Marijuana and possession marijuana less than 20 grams.
