[UPDATE] Madison County Recount Continues for School Board Race

Candidate Bobby Harper has officially won the second seat of the School Board District 4 race in Madison County.

The first seat was won by Karen Pickles with about 32 percent of the vote.

The District 4 school board second seat in Madison County was decided by three votes during Florida's primary last week.

Candidate Bobby Harper slightly beat out Donnell Davis by less than half a percentage point.

Supervisor of Elections Thomas Hardee says when it's that close you must have a recount.

Last week they held a computer and manual recount.

The votes have been certified and now Harper will face off with Pickles in the November election.
