Tallahassee, Florida -July 7, 2012-
The Make-A-Wish Foundation grants hundreds of wishes every year around Tallahassee.
Fifteen-year-old Ali Dumais will have one of her wishes come true next week. She's going to the Bahamas.
Friends and family gathered at Capital Lanes Bowling Alley on Saturday 7-7-12 for a sendoff before the trip.
Dumais was diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer last August. She's now in remission.
Dumais was home-schooled all of last year, but hopes to begin her sophomore year at Chiles High School.
But right now, she can't wait to take her long-awaited vacation.
"I love the Bahamas. I've only been there once and Atlantis is amazing. It's just so cool," says Dumais.
Dumais says she is looking forward to swimming with the dolphins while she is there and trying the water slides.
