Tifton, GA- Investigators with the Tift County Sheriff's Office believe 28-year-old Louie Scott Williamson is the person responsible for a string of recent burglaries, all occurring in broad day light.
A house located along the 1400 block of Ty Ty Omega Road is just one of the five houses recently hit.
Investigators aren't sure if Williamson is connected to all of them, but they have enough evidence to charge him with three of the burglaries.
Residential burglaries were also reported along Isabella Nashville Road and Cromer Road in Tift County.
"TV's, lap tops, electronics; those items seem to be a hot item when houses are getting broken into," said Lt. Chad Davis, with the Tift County Sheriff's Office Criminal Investigation Division.
After interviewing homeowners and witnesses, investigators were able to develop a description of the type of car Williamson could possibly be driving.
Late Wednesday night, a Deputy spotted the 1998 Black Dodge Ram and inside was the man they've been looking for.
"Neighbors need to watch out; if neighbors see strange cars in the neighborhood, they need to let law enforcement know, let their neighbors know; keep an eye out for eachother," said Lt. Davis.
Williamson is still behind bars at the Tift County Jail.
Investigators say they have not yet recovered any of the stolen items.
