Man Bikes Across America to Raise Money for Charities
Tallahassee, FL -January 21, 2013
He's already run across the country, now he's biking it.
Chris Nicholas is peddling more than six thousand miles from Portland Maine to Portland Oregon to raise money for the Wounded Warrior Fund, the Make A Wish Foundation and St. Jude Children's Hospital.
On Sunday, Nicholas made a stop in Tallahassee where he talked about what motivates him during his journey.
"When you think about doing this for the Wounded Warrior Project, the Make a Wish Foundation and St. Jude's Children's Hospital, you say to yourself, 'I'm doing this for somebody else.' And that's important. You're building awareness, you're raising those funds and you just have to keep going," says Nicholas.
So far, he's raised more than $2,700 .All the proceeds raised go to the charities. Last year, he ran from D.C. to Santa Monica California in 88 days
