Man Arrested in Lake City Murder

A man was arrested Saturday in connection with a robbery and fatal shooting at a local convenience store.

Lake City police took in James Johnson who they believe was involved in the shooting and killing of 55-year old Rajni Patel - the owner of the store.

It all happened April 27th at the A & M Discount Beverage store on SE Duval Street.

Police are still on the hunt for another suspect. They have identtified him as Ernest Larry Grandison.

A reward of up to $10,000 will be offered to anyone who can provide information leading to his arrest. They are asked to contact the Lake City Police Department.
