Moultrie, GA- January, 4, 2013
Surveillance video is giving us a closer look at the chilling incident that unfolded Wednesday night at the Super Dollar store in Moultrie.
"One black male came into the store. He showed a revolver, a silver colored revolver, pointed it to one of the employees and he demanded money," said Investigator Raul Leal with the Moultrie Police Department.
Investigators say the man, who was wearing a ski mask, forced the employee to empty the cash register. According to police, the suspect made off with a large amount of money.
The assistant manager of the store said in light of the incident, they have decided to now lock their doors an hour before closing, that way they can see who is coming in, before it's too late.
"At the time, there were two employees at the business and the one that got robbed was in shock and wasn't able to say much at the time," said Leal.
Investigators are looking for a black male, possibly in his 20's, 5'8 to 5'10 and around 160 pounds.
Moultrie Police are asking anyone with information on this incident or a possible suspect to call Investigations at 229-890-5500.
